Which AI does it run on?
Stream Shop AI is built for Claude Code first and works there today. It does require a separate paid Anthropic subscription, which starts at about $20 a month. ChatGPT support is planned, and the system is designed to stay portable as AI tools improve. Your setup is not trapped inside one closed platform. The current download is built to be migrated into other AI systems with help from those AI platforms. As an example, Claude uses features it calls Skills, which are specific to Claude, so we added extra files that explain to other AI platforms what each skill does, how it is structured, and how to plug it into the whole. The entire engine is written in Python, alongside a large set of plain-text files that every AI platform reads natively. So you are never stranded on a single island, which is another reason we built in the second brain.
Which Claude Code monthly subscription is required?
Stream Shop AI runs inside Claude Code, which is part of Anthropic's paid Claude plans. The Pro plan, at about $20 a month, is all you need to run everything, and any paid plan (Pro or higher) works. The free Claude plan does not include Claude Code, so on the free plan Claude cannot open your Stream Shop AI folder and setup cannot begin. If you already pay for Claude, you are all set. If you are new to it, we are happy to help you get set up.
Can I use a Mac or Windows machine?
Both work. Stream Shop AI runs the same on a Mac and on Windows. There is just one small extra step on Windows: Claude Code needs a small free tool called Git to open your folder, and Macs already include it. On Windows you install Git once, which takes about two minutes. You accept the default options, and you never have to open it yourself. After that, everything runs the same. The Windows "Start Here" guide included in your download walks you through it.
Can I really buy it and start today?
Yes. Stream Shop AI is a one-time purchase. You download it, set it up in your own workspace, and start using it with your own business data. You own the system. There is no required subscription beyond your monthly Anthropic Claude AI subscription to keep using it.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Stream Shop AI is built for sellers, not developers. There is no terminal, no code editor, and no technical setup maze. You work in plain language, and the guided setup walks you through what to do step by step.
What is the "second brain"?
It is your organized AI workspace for your business, built in Obsidian, a free app that is easy to install. Is my data secure?
Yes. Your setup lives in your own workspace, with your own files. You control your data, your reports, and your business knowledge. That means you can keep it, move it, back it up, and carry it forward as your tools change. We have no access to your information or data and cannot see any of it. You download the package to your own computer, and it is yours. One important distinction: while we never see your data, the AI model you choose does process whatever you send it to work on. All of the frontier AI labs, including Anthropic and OpenAI, can access the content you share with them in order to respond to you. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of your preferred AI model, and to revisit it from time to time, so you always understand how your information is handled as their policies change.
